We spent one full day in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, on our way from Armenia. At nearly 8 million people it is the 4th largest Latin American city. We started early in the day and managed to make it to both places we were really interested in visiting.

Monserrate is an iconic Bogotá landmark. We road a cable car to the top and wandered around. The view was great and the grounds were interesting to walk around.

The botanic garden of Bogotá was really pretty.
